Rich Coffeen is author of The Discipling of Mytra, a science fiction novel set in the year 3125.

Sarah Chen and her team are sent to open Mytra, an all-male world enslaved by robots and artificial intelligences. The missionaries discover a populace armed with unexpected weaponry, a government that would rather kill its citizens than let them go free, and the abiding legacy of a founder determined to secure the ascent of humanism.

Rich Coffeen teaches high school in Northern Virginia. He and his wife, Therese, have seven children: Galadriel, Caylah, Calvin, Hannah, Ransom, Eowyn, and Xaris.
